Sometimes — while oftentimes actually if we’re being honest — we design a piece for the purely selfish reason that we want to wear it ourselves ;)
The I Dream in Flowers dress was definitely one of these pieces — created using a masterful floral oil painting from the early 1600’s by artist Jan Brueghel, and trimmed with an ink drawing of bumblebees found in a Victorian insect encyclopedia. It has the look and feel of a timeless, vintage piece that will never go out of style.
You can also wear this piece two ways, with the dragonfly on the front of the bodice, or the back.
Please note: The nature of our soft viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend wearing a full or half-slip with this style. 100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo).
Machine wash gentle or handwash, hang to dry.
